Bolek and Lolek

Bolek and Lolek are two Polish cartoon characters. They are young boys – brothers, based on Władysław Nehrebecki's sons, who were partially created by native German Alfred Ledwig, and became occupated by Władysław Nehrebecki, and Leszek Mech. They first appeared in an animation film in 1964.
Names picked for the title are diminutives of Bolesław and Karol. In English, the cartoon was called Jim & Jam or Bennie and Lennie.
