Bolder Boulder
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The city of Boulder, Colorado has hosted a 10-km road run, the Bolder Boulder, on Memorial Day, every year since 1979. The race involves up to 50,000 runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair racers, making it one of the largest road races in the world. It has arguably [1] one of the largest non-marathon prize purses in road racing.
The race culminates at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field with a Memorial Day Tribute with one of the largest Memorial Day gatherings in the United States. Organizers have dedicated three starting waves to current and former members of the U.S. armed forces.
