There isn't much to be said: I am a sixteen-year-old male currently living in England, attending college in Grimsby. I went to KEVIS, found it about as enjoyable as the whole 'thumbscrews' routine, and consequently decided not to stay there for the two most important years of my education.
I've been using computers for a relatively short space of time (roughly 7 years), but having such a short life span to date, this has meant that I have what might be called an 'intuitive' feel for their operation, and can pick up just about anything when given half a chance.
I only discovered wikipedia in 2003, but have been using it constantly ever since. Finding it such a useful resource, I began to contribute small corrections and additions, and was recently persuaded by a friend to create an account. The playful promise of recognition and administrative priviledges was probably a factor in my agreeing, although I don't realistically believe such things will happen anytime soon. Thus, Until I am elected Grand Ruler of the Internet, it is my ambition to provide useful contributions to what I consider to be one of the most important projects on the net. I hold spelling and grammar in high esteem, and consequently forget about the bigger picture on a regular basis: for this reason, I don't expect to be writing full articles for a long time yet.
For anyone interested, my interests include: most good music produced before the late 90s; a tiny amount of music produced after the late 90s; films; novels/fiction writing; neurology (as a passive curiosity, not a profession :); graphic novels, cartoons, webcomics; comedy, standups; philosophy, debate, politics; flash animation (the vice of anyone with an internet connection); video games on any non-handheld platform; etc.
