Boise Towne Square Mall is a mall in Boise, Idaho and is the largest mall in Idaho. The mall was built in 1987 and opened in 1988. The mall was expanded in 1998 to add Dillard's, 100 new stores, a food court, and more space for The Bon Marchè. Owners of the department stores ZCMI asked for a approval to build a store in 1999 but due to the fact that all Z.C.M.I. stores closed on Sundays it was never approved. In 2000, another expansion was made to expand Sears and add more stores. In 2006, the mall is currently being expanded to add 35,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Some stores and restaurants include Borders Books & Music and The Cheesecake Factory.
