The Gold-ringed Cat Snake or Mangrove Snake Boiga dendrophila is a species of snake that belongs to the genus of Boiga. The average size of an adult mangrove snake is about two and a half meters, or about eight feet. It is venomous, but its venom is mild and usually only causes humans some pain and discomfort.

The mangrove snake lives in lowland rainforests and mangrove swamps in Southeast Asia.
