Boiceville Railroad Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This was the old station at Boiceville, MP 21.3, and was the westernmost depot to be destroyed during the flooding of the Ashokan Reservoir. Although the community of Boiceville was submerged, the station site remains above the reservoir level, at a point just west of where the old railroad ROW slips under the waters of the reservoir, and just east of where it diverges from the new line.
The station was replaced by the new Cold Brook Station, which is currently a hunting club, and is in good condition.
