"Body; the dark side of Desire" is a Bollywood movie dubbed in English starring Bipasha Basu and John Abraham in the lead roles. It was directed by Amit Saxena. Bipasha Basu plays the lead role of Sonia Khanna, an adultress. She became India's sex symbol soon after the release of the movie. John Abraham marked his debut in Hindi films with this movie.

Bipasha Basu was nominated for the Filmfare Best Villain Award for her convincing performance in the movie. The film was also noted for its music, scored by M. M. Kareem.

~Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.~ John Abraham plays Kabir, a lawyer. One day, Kabir meets Sonia (Bipasha Basu), the wife of a travelling millionaire. They embark on an affair, which leads to Sonia convincing Kabir to murder her husband. Sonia's motivation for the killing was to get her hands on her husband's money and property.
