Bodnath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the area of Kathmandu, Nepal. The Buddhist stupa of Bodnath dominates the skyline. The influx of large populations of Tibetan refugees from China has seen the construction of Tibetan Gompas around the Bodnath.
