Bodies is a 2001 hit single by Drowning Pool from their album Sinner . "Bodies" has an anthemic, repetitive chorus of "Let the bodies hit the floor!"
After September 11, radio stations owned by media conglomerate Clear Channel voluntarily refused to play "Bodies," or several other similarly popular songs, such as those by Rage Against the Machine.
The song served as the theme for the World Wrestling Entertainment-produced SummerSlam 2001 and is currently being used as the theme song for Extreme Championship Wrestling in WWE. This song is also used in Jason X, The One, and XXX starring Vin Diesel. It is also used by the UFC on their Spike TV program from time to time, and was used for ECW's pay-per-view event ECW One Night Stand for both its 2005 and 2006 event, as well as December to Dismember.
