Bod, Braşov

Bod (German: Brenndorf) is a town in Romania in Braşov County with 4085 inhabitants (1966 census). At Bod there is one of Romania's largest sugar factories and a broadcasting transmitter for long- and medium-wave radio, the Bod Transmitter. Bod is also got the cold record in Romania. A temperature of -38,5 degrees Celsius (-37 Fahrenheit) have been recorded here.
