Boca Ciega High School

Boca Ciega High School is a high school located in southern Pinellas County, Florida and is part of Pinellas County Schools. Boca Ciega High School is located in Gulfport, Florida but most of the students that attend live in or around St. Petersburg, Florida. Boca Ciega was built in 1955 in an open air style of campus. It is due to be replaced with a new state of the art school beginning in 2007. Former Principal John Leanes(you will be missed Mr. Leanes) began the plans towards a new school and current Principal Paula Gene-Nelson continues to push forward the new plans of a new school. Boca Ciega is commonly referred to as Bogie and by the community and former students and staff.

Boca Ciega High School has a magnet program called the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions or CWMP or Medical Magnet for short. It's students take medical and health career intensified classes to be prepared for college and medical school, of course, not all students choose a Medical Profession but the program is very helpful in the way of preparing students for life.
