Bo' Rai Cho did NOT appear in the first Mortal Kombat movie. Johnny Cage says "Master Boyd", and IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113855/fullcredits says that Peter Jason is credited for playing Master BOYD. I am deleting that entry. Devil Master, 14 Nov 2005, 23:47 (MET)

"*His character resembles that of Sha Wujing in Journey to the West, both being martial artists and drunkards." - cut from the article, since it's already noted that BRC is an archetypal drunken master. It's still interesting, and maybe could be put back in with some other examples like one of Jackie Chan's characters and that old dude from Virtua Fighter. dfg 20:17, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

  • is it really fair to put him in a category of joke characters? Magic Pickle 16:44, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, he was made as a joke and he was funny!--Triple-Quadruple 16:15, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

I Actually disagree with placing him in Joke Characters in some ways. Despite one or two humourous moves his storyline is actually just as seriously set as more serious characters such as Quan Chi. The MK character that probably should take this place would be either Cage or Mokap really. Jamesbuc
