BMW R1200C
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Description
The motorbike BMW R 1200 C was BMW's first entry into the Cruiser market, and was introduced in 1997 together with the smaller R 850 variant.
The production of the R 850 C was stopped in 2000 and production of the R 1200 C in 2004.
The design of the R 1200 C is unrelated to the classical Chopper/Cruiser. Similar to classical Chopper, the R 1200 C is an excellent base for individual customization. Discussion Boards like e.g. www.chromeheads.org or www.r1200c.de are dedicated to this. The R 1200 C first attracted the attention of the public during its inauguration in the 007-Thriller "Tomorrow never dies" with James Bond.
