Yes, welcome indeed. Please feel free to leave me a new message or respond to those already here, I'll do my best to respond as soon as I can.

For the sake of continuity and convenience, I'll generally respond on your user page, and then leave a link to my response (i.e., a diff between my version and the previous of that page) on this page.

[edit] Thank you for your comments at Talk:DHARMA Initiative stations

I just read through your comments, and think you make some good points. However, a bit of additional background on the issue might help. This article was split off from DHARMA Initiative [1], when the section had become longer and longer, as per Wikipedia:Summary_style and Wikipedia:How to break up a page. The extended "purposes" subsection was inserted in the original article, which I removed as Original Research and so noted on that talk page. Therein, I gave specific reasons for its removal. To be conciliatory, I condensed the extended "he said, she said" version into a more paragraphic form, while keeping nearly all the non-speculative content. Even still, it would be Original Research to make a claim that X character has Y theory, when we can't actually know what a fictional character "believes"; creating sub-sections of character "X's view" and "Y's view" is not only unnecessary, but particularly for a television series like Lost where such characters (and their supposed views) change as needed to progress the plot, it would fail the Wikipedia:Avoid statements that will date quickly guideline.

Finally, I have chosen to cut back my interaction with users such as this recent editor, who has a history of antagonism and incivility towards both myself and other editors. The issue isn't a failure to assume good faith but a matter of finding his comments to be particularly un-constructive and argumentative in extensive previous discussions. See, for example: his talk page deletion of comments from another editor; and his response to me (with uncivil edit summary: "Take that") to a similar recent and unnecessarily heated discussion. Thanks again, —LeflymanTalk 18:51, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Verity of NDEs

Your interest is greatly appreciated, and I will leave a message at your talk page when the article is complete and online. It currently undergoing major additions to some of the original paragraphs (though I never posted them in the original state), and will be up and online within a few weeks. I'll give a deadline of 31 May 2006— if they're not on by then contact me. Thanks again for your interest ... I see that you're agnostic/an atheist (so was I), and I believe these theories and other websites may influence you otherwise. For now, I reccommend you visit Near-Death.com for further information. Cheers!. — CRAZY`(IN)`SANE 19:07, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject query

Hi, just wanted to run something by you as I noticed you are the creator of WikiProject Musicians. Do you think there would be any interest or need for creating a WikiProject Guitarists? I imagine something focused on cataloging all notable guitarists with their own articles, including things like:

  • Equipment used
  • Techniques and innovations noted
  • Tunings used
  • Roles in various musical groups
  • Endorsements

What do you think? Aguerriero (talk) 14:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Would you mind signing your name to the project's proposal listing here? Thanks! Aguerriero (talk) 15:04, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of Righteous Babe Artists

Hi, I have proposed for deletion a list that you have created. I did this because I felt that it duplicates the Category:Righteous Babe Artists also created by you (I think). I thought I'd let you know in case you felt the need to dispute this. -MrFizyx 21:19, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Musicians

Hi, I wasn't sure if you noticed but I did a lot of work on Al Jourgensen and added him to the project page as a recent article. I was thinking maybe existing project members could look at this article and use it as a guinea pig to think about standard elements to include in musician articles. Aguerriero (talk) 12:33, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Are you leaving the project? I will not put any more effort into it, if so. I may still pursue the Guitarists WikiProject when I have more free time. Aguerriero (talk) 15:37, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Guitarists

Hello, just dropping you a note to invite you to check out the new WikiProject Guitarists page. It is in its first iteration, and has not yet been listed as an official project. Looking for feedback on anything you care to comment on. I hope you will become one of the first participants! --Aguerriero (talk) 20:56, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WPWikiProject Musicians

Wikipedia is in sore need of a policy on for musician pages, and you have been active in this area before. Therefore, please provide your comments and opinions on the policies there. Thanks in advance!--Esprit15d 19:35, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] High impedance

Hey,

I just wanted to let you know that, although i was wrong about what high impedance is - its not a signal. High impedance is not a voltage. Its just a wire that does not have power conected to it - (the resistance to the net of wire "holding" a high impedance is too high to let through voltage or current from the circuit). I'm going to correct it at high impedance. Fresheneesz 07:01, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
