[edit] Welcome
Hello Bluerfn and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. Try to be civil by following simple guidelines and signing your talk comments with ~~~~ but never forget that one of our central tenets is to ignore all rules.
If you want to learn more, Wikipedia:Tutorial is the place to go, but eventually the following links might also come in handy:

Float around until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. Additionally, the Community Portal offers a more structured way to become acquainted with the many great committees and groups that focus on specific tasks. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English as well as the cleanup, welcoming, and counter-vandalism committees. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy. If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 05:10, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ICRC move/creation
Hello Azul, you told me you'd be happy to share your opinion...be careful what you wish for! For the past few months I've been writing a new International Committee of the Red Cross article. I'm finally satisfied enough to propose its move into the main namespace, though it's far from perfect. That article is at User:Draeco/ICRC, and I've proposed a move here. I hope you can take the time to give your opinion. - Draeco 18:00, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:Kaed.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kaed.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] License tagging for Image:FF12Garif.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:FF12Garif.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] FF12
Your "FFXII ULTIMANIA" book has several misprints. If you play the game itself, you will see that Basch's middle name is "von", not "fon". Please play the game if you do not believe me, stop changing the information just because you have bad information. Thanks. Noah 08:43, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

- You must have an older version of the game, because in my special edition, it clearly does say "von" -- I'll have to play through it again, and take a physical picture for you w/ my camera. Once I have that, I'll make the change and we can put this matter to rest. Thanks. Noah 22:27, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- First you claim of me having a misprinted book, then bad information, now you say I have an older version of the game? Aren't you glad of claiming that everything i say is not what you desire to hear? Please, my respond is in your talk page. 私はBluerfnです 22:39, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- "fon" is a mispelling in some early editions of the game. I purchased my copy about 2 weeks after the intial shipment, which has the error corrected. von is the proper spelling of the word of in German. fon in German means nothing. If you notice, the letter F is right next to the letter V on the US keyboard. It was a simple mistake which has been corrected in future versions of the game. I'll get that photograph to you as soon as possible. Noah 22:45, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- I mean, you do understand that right? The spelling of "fon" has just been misinformation from the start. The word "fon" means nothing. It is simply common sense, which is why it is spelled correctly in my version of the game. Did you pre-order your game, or did you purchase a copy after the initial shipment of games from the distributor? Noah 22:47, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

- Fair enough. We can just chalk it up to a mis-translation from the Japanese version (which had the spelling correct as von) to the American version (which has an improper spelling of fon). Noah 23:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- http://www.flora-fleur.net/basch/name.html I just love this site. Really clarifies everything. Noah slipped, and blamed the ULTIMANIA, said mine an old version, claims its german as if german exists in ivalice. what a character! von Ronsenburg, as if! 私はBluerfnです 16:31, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ivalice -- World vs. Region
Hello Blue. It's me again. The character -- you can try to edit my contention that Ivalice is a region all you want, but I will keep reverting it every 25 hours because the official NA FFXIII Website, created by SquareEnix says that Ivalice is a world (in addition to it possibly being a region). I've been around Wikipedia much longer than you have, and I don't give up easily. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Thanks. Oh, and in regards to the von/fon issue, even IMDB has it listed as von in the official actors profile. Take that as you will! Noah 05:08, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
