[edit] Twilight Secret Star Guy, vandal
I've declined to block, or even warn, User:Twilight Secret Star Guy. I don't know what you think he's doing that's vandalism, but I do see that you have a funny idea of what vandalism is. Let me remind you that no one "owns" wikipedia articles. This bunch of changes to Atomic Betty is in no way vandalism. Note the difference between productive edits you disagree with and unproductive edits purposely designed to harm the encyclopedia. To deal with edits of the first type, please interact with other editors on the talk page or on their user talk page to try to reach an understanding. For the latter, leave vandalism warnings (see the top of WP:AIV) before reporting. Mangojuicetalk 18:17, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
User:Twilight Secret Star Guy was blocked indefinitely as of 2 August 2006, as a suspected sock puppet of MascotGuy, being used to circumvent the latter's permanent ban. This was precisely the reason I reported him, to prevent the inevitable string of unverifiable information that he attempts to slip into the articles he edits, in accordance with banning policy. As for the above cited example of my editing style, I will let my other edits, corrections, and additions to Atomic Betty speak for themselves. --BlueSquadronRaven 15:44, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Userspace links on Wikipedia:Userboxes directories
Hi BlueSquadronRaven,
I noticed you're one of the newest (and already active ) members to the userbox project. Congratulations! I also noticed you've added some userspace links to a few Wikipedia:Userboxes directories. Don't be surprised if the links get deleted. That's part of WP:GUS. That's why you'll notice many of those pages are shrinking and even disappearing. Of course, you're always welcome to keep adding your links to User:Rfrisbie/Userboxes directories. Regards, Rfrisbietalk 17:22, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Possible Userbox Solution
This is a form letter, please don't reply directly. Do, however, feel free to discuss this solution I've come up with.
I've made an unofficial place for all User Boxes (hopefully) safe from overzealous Admins. Feel free to add any you like, edit any there, or just list your already made userboxes there. Also feel free to edit the main page (the user page) in any way that you think might help. Please note, however, that this is a user page and not an official Wikipedia page, so almost any User Box will be tolerated as long as it's within reason. UserBox 02:53, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mascot
We (a group of admins) discussed the situation and decided that to give repeat vandals their own identifying templates is pointless, as it only glorifies them. We have recategorized these vandals according to the simplest criteria: whether they attack the page address (pagemove), or the page content (pageblank).
Accordingly, we have redefined MascotGuy as simply a Pageblank vandal; consequently, he does not need a specific template. I will, however, refrain from reverting the template until I've heard from you. DS 00:58, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] BCLIONS
DUDE you have a BC LIONS USER BOX, YES YES YES, we will win this year, unfortunatley I'll be in ottawa but that won't stop me from cheering and partying hard........... TotallyTempo 20:39, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 03:04, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Battlestar Galactica
Your article on the episode War of the Gods Pt 1 was submitted to a vote for Afd. The reason is because all the articles on the episodes are too brief. While they may survive deletion(and I plan on voting weak keep), you are urged to expand all the BG articles or else they may ALL eventually be deleted. Jcam 15:17, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Barnstar!
Thanks for the barnstar. Finally, something to put next to my anti-userbox userbox! :) —tregoweth (talk) 05:33, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- Deletionism now, deletionism forever! :) —tregoweth (talk) 23:51, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Conflict of Interest
Hi, you cited violation of WP:COI as a reason for deletion in this AfD. Unfortunately, that's not a valid reason. The main issue with COI is people create articles for themselves when they aren't notable enough, and he fails on this count. --Steve (Slf67) talk 23:56, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tainted poll?
Hi. Sorry to bother you. You participated in a television episode article naming poll which now lives at this location. Some feel that wording changes have compromised the results of that poll. If you don't mind, could you please take a look at what is there now and add a quick note at WT:TV-NC#Looking for anyone who objects to the last poll to say whether your feelings on the matter remain the same? Of course you can feel free to read over the entirety of both links for more information. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 02:20, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks!
Glad to know it was appreciated by some, if not all... :^) —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 05:51, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Galactica
Hi. I've redirected a stub you just created -- I am a Galactica fan but I don't think at present we really need a stub.. it is basicly just forking {{sf-tv-stub}} - Feel free to RV me if you do think we need one. MatthewFenton (talk • contribs • count • email) 22:46, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article moving
FYI, there is no consensus at WP:NC on how to title the television episode articles, and the naming issue is being hotly debated at Wikipedia_talk:Naming conventions (television). Unless you can show me a discussion in the WikiProject where it is agreed that these articles should be moved, it is probably best if all page moves stopped until the consensus is clear. --Elonka 07:04, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Grey cUp
see I was right, we TOTALLY WON THE 2006 GREY CUP yeah hah
[edit] Liverpool Userbox
Thanks man. I thought so too... unfortunately someone decided to revert it for whatever reason. I've reverted it back again. Hopefully it doesn't turn in to a reverting war!!! Seth Cohen 02:22, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Request for Mediation
[edit] You're welcome.
Some of my answers were rhetorical as well, as you probably noticed. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 22:51, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
