[edit] Synopsis
Miles Logan (Lawrence) is a jewel thief who has just stolen a $20 million diamond along with some accomplices. Things go haywire during the robbery and Logan has to hide the diamond at a construction site. Logan and his accomplices are arrested and spend time in jail (2 Years). After serving time, Logan heads back to the spot where he hid the diamond only to find that the construction site was the location of a new LAPD headquarters. Logan scopes the place out by becoming a pizzaman then poses as a detective transferring from another division. He is teamed up with naive detective Carlson (Wilson) and is sent out on multiple police investigations. As farfetched as his fake resume was, he was promoted to Lead Detective of the Robbery Division which gave him special priorities like searching vilian's casefiles. Logan eventually recovers the diamond but an accomplice that helped him steal the diamond is hot on his trail. Logan must continue to fool the police and his accomplice in order to get away. The movie ends climatically with a freeze frame of Lawrence doing a "toyota jump"... Try to keep a dry eye
