Blue Ridge School

Blue Ridge School is a private, all male boarding school located in St. George (near Charlottesville), Virginia. The school was founded in 1909 as the then, Blue Ridge Industrial School by the Rev. George P. Mayo. This would later be changed to its current name. It now sits on a 751 acre campus that adjoins the Shenandoah National Park. Blue Ridge has approximately 190 students, grades 9-12. The school asserts that almost 100% of their graduates go on to college.
The Blue Ridge School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and, Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS). It has membership in The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS), International Boys’ Schools Coalition, National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Small Boarding School Associations (SBSA)
