Blue Ridge Middle School is a public secondary school in Purcellville, VA. It is part of Loudoun County Public Schools and part of the Loudoun Valley High School cluster. Blue Ridge serves the entire western Loudoun County area, including Purcellville, Hamilton, Round Hill, Hillsboro, Lovettsville, Bluemont, Philomont, and Waterford communities.
Students from Banneker, Emerick, Hillsboro, Lincoln, Lovettsville, Mountain View, Round Hill and Waterford Elementary Schools feed into Blue Ridge. Unlike the other ten middle schools in Loudoun County, students attend middle school at Blue Ridge for 6th and 7th grade only. Students at Blue Ridge then continue their schooling at Harmony Intermediate School for their 8th and 9th grade education. They then go on to finish their education at Loudoun Valley starting in 10th grade.
After a western Loudoun County high school opens in 2008 or 2009, Blue Ridge will become a 6th-8th grade middle school.
