Blue Mountain Ski Area

Blue Mountain is a ski resort in Eastern Pennsylvania located on the Blue Mountain north of the Lehigh Valley in the southern most part of The Poconos. Blue Mountain has a summit elevation of 1,600 feet and vertical elevation change of 1,082 ft. There are 110 acres of skiing terrain. The longest trail is 1.5 miles in length. The mountain has a total of 30 slopes and 10 lifts, including 1 high speed quad lift and 1 high speed six pack lift. It has two terrain areas and one half pipe. It also features night skiing and snowtubing. It has two lodges, one on the top and one on the bottom of the mountain. The mountain summit receives an average of 30 inches of snowfall each winter. The resort opened in 1977.
