[edit] Synopsis
The story begins with a man named Manuel Pineda, who is ill and had only has six-months to live, but there is one thing in his life he wanted to do, that is to find Corazon (His love one). Meanwhile Manuel's son Rod is still mourning to his wife's death. Also Rod's son, Kyle, recently left by his wife Peggy.
Manuel starts to find Corazon somewhere in Ilocos but she wasn't there so his son Rod and Grandson Kyle picks him up in Ilocos but on the way home the car they were in has broken down. Then Manuel tells the story of why he was in Ilocos.
Manuels past starts when he befriends with Domingo, Cora, and Azon (both Cora and Azon also named Corazon). Manuel falls in love with Azon, and Cora has a secret crush on Manuel. Moving on, Azon tells Manuel that her mother wants to move far far away and offers him to come with her and her mother, Manuel declined then Azon gave him a piece of her pendant (which is part of her necklace) and tells him that if the pendant goes back to her necklace their both meant together.
After that Domingo and Manuel joined the army. Later on the war began and Azon tried to say goodbye to Manuel but she catch up with Domingo (who also like's Azon), Domingo tells Azon that Manuel is in a battle then Azon gave Domingo her address and told him to tell Manuel to find her.
After the battle Domingo and Manuel was captured by the enemies, Domingo was wounded badly that he can't walk, so he told Manuel to leave without him but before Manuel leaves (which he doesn't want to) he gave Manuel the address of Azon and told Manuel to find her. After that Manuel survives the war and met Cora (now a nurse) in the hospital. While Cora was taking care of the wounded Manuel, she revealed her feelings for him and they both make love.
After that Cora got pregnant and got married with Manuel. After Cora gave birth to their son she leaves Manuel because she thought Manuel is still in love with Azon. She gave Manuel a half picture of her and if her half picture and his half picture unite again it means they're both meant to be together.
Back to the present, after Kyle and Rod learned the story, they helped Manuel find Corazon. Will they find Corazon? But which Corazon?
