[edit] Notability
It's unclear if this organization is actually notable per WP:WEB. I'm not finding many references to it that aren't self-generated. Try searching Google with "BLTC Research" -"was founded in 1995", which shows all references that aren't copies of the press release, and you get 195 hits. This organization has a link farm of several hundred web sites, and many of the hits come from them. It's unclear what's going on here. --John Nagle 00:53, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
I've restructured the page massively now and have hopefully avoided any excessive validity problems. If there are still problems I'm willing to change it again or try and provide more external references. One of the main problems is that not many organisations have written on these topics as many of the ideas mentioned are relatively new and stem predominantly from the work of BLTC. Other organisations are linked with BLTC however, e.g. The Transhumanist Association and Abolitionist Society, and I've linked to and mentioned some of them in the article. BLTC is hosting material key to the emerging transhumanist philosophy and cultural movement, including key writings by philosopher David Pearce. BLTC is a notable organization at least within the transhumanist cultural movement and as such a Wikipedia article on the organization is waranted. Analyst07 13 October 2006
I feel that the organization is notable, but it's true that there aren't many links to it that aren't self-generated. This is probably due to the fact that these ideas are not hugely accepted in society. I don't think links themselves are factors in notability and I myself have found that trying to research certain scientists or developments is difficult due to lack of information in the media.
Anyway, I propose that the article is either kept (minus the tags) or merged or redirected into David Pearce as a sub-section. The latter might keep everyone happy.

I have removed the citations and context tags; I have added citations and rewritten the intro to be more clear and I feel these are no longer necessary.
