[edit] re: Funk Brothers articles

Wikipedia articles are generally supposed to be made up more of prose than lists. It's next-to-impossible to create a fully accurate (and complete) discography for any of the Funk Brothers, and it's not really a good idea to place "not a complete list" on what will never be a complete list. Therefore, the best solution (something that was done when some of those stubs were first written) is to take a handful of Motown songs -- say three or four -- that prominently feature the contributions of that particular funk brother, and mention them in the text.

I left Melvin "Wah-Wah Watson" Ragin alone for now, because that article needs extensive research and reworking. It lists songs and performers without mentioning how, when, or why Ragin is on those songs. At least i nthe cases of the (other) Funk Brothers, the reader understands they were employees of Motown. --FuriousFreddy 23:44, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
