I think Karen is trying to keep with her theme of identity of expected roles in the family unit
Ailyn Vel is mentioned by name quite a lot, and is an actual character in the book. I suggest you try reading it. And since I see no clear reason for the neutrality and quality tags, I'm taking them off until somebody can post a concrete reason in writing. -Winter04 04:31, 3 Dec 2006 (UTC)
