In response to Perfectos comments about the notability of Blockstar I have added some additional material. Since I was not sure about how much needed to be included I added links to some external download sites which show independent stats about how many times Blockstar has been downloaded on them. While I only included a few sites, Blockstar is listed on a lot of software download sites. Those sites can be found through this Google search:

Outside of usage, Blockstar is notable for its new methods of building web pages. A detailed description of that method can be found by reading this patent application.

I included the title of that application in the article.

Finally while it is not in English, here is a review of Blockstar from Genbeta.com a major Spanish language software blog.
