Bloomington High School South (BHSS) is a high school in Bloomington, Indiana.
Well Known Hoosiers including Rex Grossman and Meg Cabot have attended this school. It has several State Championships in Athletics, Music, and Accademics. The school's Solar Bike Team has travelled to Japan most recently in 2004.
They currently have three 12 week trimesters with five classes a day from 8am until 2:30pm. Courses are 67 minutes long, with six minute passing periods. On Wednesdays they have Student Recreation Time, which is a glorified homeroom, and reduces the normal classes to 49 minutes each, except for third period where the lunch periods are.
