Bloodbound

Bloodbound is a Swedish heavy metal band, formed in 2004. They have released one album, 'Nosferatu' (2005). The band includes former Tad Morose vocalist Urban Breed and former Street Talk members Fredrik Bergh and Tomas Olsson. Released on December 16, 2005 (in Japan; European release date February 24, 2006), 'Nosferatu' features artwork by Mark Wilkinson (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Marillion) and received early rave reviews from Sweden Rock magazine, Power Play magazine, MetalCovenant.com and SeaofTranquility.org.

Despite the band's apparent black metal image, Bloodbound's music does not fit into the black metal category. Instead, it is more similar in style to power metal bands such as Helloween, although the lyrics approach darker subjects.

Based solely on the strength of their debut album, the band has already opened for Evergrey and headlined Day 1 of the Gothenburg Metal Festival.
