[edit] Plot

Alex Gates (Nicholson) appears to have it all - a successful career as a Miami-area wine merchant and a happy homelife. Everything though, is falling apart for him. He's in debt and his home life is anything but happy - he can't get along with his alcoholic wife (Davis) or his stepson (Dorff).

He decides to steal an expensive necklace with his mistress and illegal immigrant Gabby (Lopez) and an aging criminal (Caine). But things start to fall apart when his wife steps in.
