Blind Illusion

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Originally a progressive rock band formed in high school by guitarist Marc Biedermann, Blind Illusion had morphed in time to a thrash metal band in the 1980s.

The Band started many musical careers, including Primus' Les Claypool and Larry LaLonde, and Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell

The lineup for their debut album included future Primus members, guitarist Larry Lalonde and bassist Les Claypool, vocalist Marc Biederman, and Drummer Mike Miner.

At the time of the album Les was a part time member who devoted most of his energies on Primus. Larry joined Primus shortly after the release of The Sane Asylum.

The band released a four song demo produced by Kirk Hammet of Metallica and an album entitled The Sane Asylum in 1988 with cover artwork provided by Clay Butler.

The band had released 5 other demos, and started recording a second album when the band broke up.
