Blew is the title of a Nirvana EP. It is also the first track on their debut album Bleach.
It was originally released in December 1989, on the Tupelo record label. It is hard to find in the United States, as it was released only in the United Kingdom. It was limited to 3,000 copies on 12" vinyl record, but also had a CD production. Both CD and vinyl counterfeits exist. The vinyl counterfeits vary in color.
[edit] Other versions
An earlier version of "Blew" with almost completely different lyrics can be found on various bootlegs.
A live version of "Blew" appears on the 1996 album From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah. Video footage of the same live version is included on the DVD version of Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! which was re-released on DVD in 2006.
Japanese musician Miyavi also has covered the song.
