Bleen (number)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bleen is a hypothetical undiscovered number lying between six and seven. The concept originated with comedian George Carlin.
[edit] Origin
In a faux newscast, Carlin says, "Scientists announced today a the discovery of a new number. The number is bleen, and it comes between six and seven." Either bleen is a non-integer real number, in which case the "discovery" would be ridiculously trivial, or it is an integer, in which case its existence would be mind-boggling, rendering arithmetic and number theory inconsistent.
