[edit] Mount Rushmore appearances

Blamblamblam, I removed your recent insertion into the appearances section of the Mount Rushmore article because the articles you linked to don't mention Mount Rushmore and don't contribute to the notability of the mountain. More explanation for my removal is in a posting at Talk:Mount_Rushmore#Appearances_section. Sorry for reverting your thoughtful addition so quickly.--Kchase T 04:54, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

The least you could do is leave a note on the talk page about why this perfectly reasonable guideline shouldn't apply to what you want to insert. There's a very civil discussion going on at Talk:Mount_Rushmore#What_is_wrong_with_the_MAD_reference.3F.--Kchase T 07:15, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

That was the discussion I added to.

Sorry. For some reason I didn't notice your comment there before I left the above message on your talk page. I was most likely too busy watching the article for vandalism last night and didn't notice your addition to the talk page. In any event, an explanation is not an excuse. I posted the above without looking carefully first. My mistake. I apologize.--Kchase T 19:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
