[edit] Ford Escape/Explorer
Hi, sorry for bad edits at the Survivor page, I should have done it better. However instead of
- Ford Escape,
there is a more elegant way with single link:
- Ford Escape.
Also you might consider that some editors dislike this approach with italics and prefer plain text (I've seen it somewhere in WikiProject Automobiles but can't recall where :-)). Reducing the number of links to same article might improve readability too. Cheers, Goldie (tell me) 15:44, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Aus1-logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Aus1-logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] BB Images
Hi, it seems your BB images like Image:Bbeye03.jpg from Big Brother Australia series 3 got deleted without warning... would you be able to upload again, making sure you include the logo tag? Similar for season 1 and 2. Thanks. -- Barrylb 12:02, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:AUS.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:AUS.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] BB02
Fix what, fix how? --JD[don't talk|email] 14:08, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
I think the infobox should be on the article, but just putting it on the article isn't enough. With the separate house and everything, I think it should be discussed how it's actually going to be done. I'll move the Celebrity Big Brother section onto a new page, so that it's not so bad when the infobox is actually put on, and if you want, then you can just put it back on and we can make changes to it from there. Sorry for taking it off twice. --JD[don't talk|email] 14:17, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
The infobox is back on the article, thanks for taking the time to do it. Perhaps you'd like to contribute to the discussion on the BB02 talk page, help decide what to do with the Intruder house housemates that didn't go in the house. --JD[don't talk|email] 14:33, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for Block
I am not an administrator (yet), and therefore cannot block anyone, nor can I protect pages. To report someone go to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, and follow the directions. TeckWizTalkContribs# of Edits 14:32, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Re your message: I'm not an administrator either, so I can't do anything you can't do. As I mentioned in my reply to the Talk page [1], it might be a little too early to do a semi-protection even though the reverting is annoying. I notice that the administrators only prefer to semi-protect a page when it is getting pounded by anonymous IPs or new accounts (I agree with that policy). The Survivor page isn't getting reverted that quickly. Luckily, several of us are watching the article and one of us usually reverts it. -- Gogo Dodo 16:35, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Help
Yes I can give you help. Before that though, can you answer why you put this message on my talk page: "Please remember that Wikipedia is an online and open encyclopedia, where everyone is allowed to edit the exisiting information. While you can have your own input, please note that Wikipedians work together to create a consensus on how articles should be edited and presented. These rules and policies are put into place for Wikipedia entries to promote consistency in presentation, meaning, and information." I was never in an argument about my stuff being reverted.
Also, for a quicker help method since I'm not always around, place helpme in your talk page, and someone will help you right away. TeckWizTalkContribs# of Edits 13:38, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why do you do that
I organized the table by Alphabetical order by first name, which is how the CBS website does it. People dont know the contestants (let alone everyday ppl) by their last name so leave it the way it was before and stop changing the table please
- I have both replied on both the Survivor: Cook Islands talk page and your user page... and if you've misplaced those comments, I'll copy and paste it again:
You said that people are getting worked up about it? Not really. It's just your constant reversion of the Survivor: Cook Islands is irritiating.
If you have any ideas over major changes, please place it on the discussion page; for example: if you have any ideas about the order of contestants put it on the discussion page, but dont revert the article itself. When a decision has been discussed and made, you can then go and change the table.
Something like this is already happening from your comments and you can further contribute to it here: Talk:Survivor: Cook Islands.
Little changes (as you have noted - the "Caucasian Americans" thing) could be easily fixed by going to edit this page and taking out the "-Americans" part of it. However, your reversions delete later edits, things that have been decided by group consensus and common edits to improve the page (e.g. removing unneccesary capitals). You can also partially revert.
And for the record, it was only suggested that the order of the tribes may be racist as the Rarotonga tribe always seemed to go back to the top (as you have done again by reverting). If you must revert, please give notice in the description of your edit and explain your reasons why.
Please sign your comments by inserting four tildes (~) after every comment.
