I note that you classified it as a logo but I am afraid that it isn't. Smiker 19:01, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dottmatrixx
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. This is a non-notable band according to the criteria set out in WP:BAND. Perhaps Myspace would be a better location for this information rather than an encylopedia, until the criteria are satisfied. (aeropagitica) (talk) 13:24, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- I can't see why wikipedia.org/wiki/Dottmatrixx can;t be added. They are an up and coming band in Australia, have 3 releases, signed to an Independent electro/synth label and planning a European tour. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Blackserenity (talk • contribs).
Did you read WP:Music? The article doesn't present any evidence that the band has fulfilled the notability criteria for an article on Wikipedia - one charting indie-label album; two charting major-label albums; charting singles; notable members or major tours. The Myspace page is adequate for this band at this time. (aeropagitica) (talk) 13:39, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to create inappropriate pages such as Dottmatrixx, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NawlinWiki 20:26, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Bigdmlogo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Bigdmlogo.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Some advice about creating links in Wikipedia articles
Hey there, I've been working a bit on your article Iva Davies and I wanted to point something out that might help you with future articles. Lots of words in articles can be linked by putting brackets around them, but unless you doublecheck the link, your might not be linking to the meaning of the word you're talking about. In some cases, you might be linking to a totally different page, or to a disambiguation page in which various uses of the word are seperated out. For instance, in your article, you have several links to Icehouse where you clearly mean the band Icehouse. However, since that word has several meanings, you'll see if you click that link that it brings you to a page talking about places to store ice, a brand of beer, etc. To link this properly, you'd want to write something like this (pretend the following is inside brackets) Icehouse (band)|Icehouse. That would create a link that works like this Icehouse and bring you to the proper page. Linking the word Rock, Flowers Crazy, etc. cause similar problems. A lot of us spend a lot of time clearing up this kind of link (you are far from the only person who does it.) (If you want to help out, check here: Disambiguation link repair - You can help!). I've spend several hours myself clearing up links to Gothic, Punk, Rock, Pop and Metal which are all words people link a lot (check out where they actually link to). So it's just something to keep in mind when you're creating an article, as it saves work later on. Cheers! Dina 13:26, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you.[edit] License tagging for Image:Charonfi.jpg
