[edit] Tarutino
No, I don't. Probably Tarle does. You may also ask Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Napoleonic Era task force. Cheers, Ghirla -трёп- 14:38, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello Blacklake!
I am Kenmore. I like your descriptions of the battles of Tarutino, Klyastnitsy, and others. Fine work indeed.
The Russians certainly won many splendid victories in 1812 against the French. Napoleon was defeated by the Russians and forced to retreat. Not many people in the West are aware of the truth behind Napoleon's defeat: that the Russians defeated him in a war of attrition, then they defeated him in combat.
Send me a message anytime if you'd like to cooperate. I am American, and in the future I will need someone to interpret some Russian sources for me, such as Bogdanovich.

[edit] Can you upload this map of Krasnoi onto Wikipedia Commons?
I am unable to upload this map for some reason...can you do it for me? It shows the Russian ring of troops closing in on the defeated French on Nov. 17th...I want to make it part of my Krasnoi article.

I have deleted the article as you requested. In future, if you want to change the name of an article, just hit the "move" (between the "history" and "unwatch") and enter the new name of the article. Disclaimer:if you think the move may be controversial, discuss it first. Happy editing abakharev 23:34, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:KrasnoiBattle.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:KrasnoiBattle.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:06, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

I have begun RfC procedures for User:Chowbok. Since you've had previous disputes with him about image uploads, maybe you'd like to add your commentary? [1] TheQuandry 03:03, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
