[edit] Marijuana
I'm interested in finding out your arguements about Marijuana legalisation. If I'm not mistaken, you support the use of Marijuana? I'd like to find out why, exactly. --Sumo Sniper 05:06, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
There is no reason for Cannabis being classified as an illegal drug. Those that advocate prohibition tend to use "Junk science" in their reasoning. Physiologically, Cannabis is much safer than ethanol beverages. There is no practical risk of overdose, it does not impair judgement like alcohol does and it doesn't make people rowdy. I remember reading somewhere that up to 40% of crimes are committed under the influence of Alcohol. I am doubtful that many of those under the influence of Cannabis could even be bothered to commit a crime. I strongly suggest that you read this FAQ; http://www.erowid.org/plants/cannabis/cannabis_faq1.shtml --Jaymo 15:56, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia_talk:Censorship
A revised version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 11:38, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of stub tag on Cro-Magnon man
I see you removed the stub tag from Cro-Magnon man. I believe this article meets the definition, as it has very little coverage of the subject. Could you please explain your removal a little more deeply than "rm stub"? :) // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 07:30, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

[edit] Marijuana Wiki
Hi there,
I see that you are a pro-Cannabis Wikipedian so I hope this will be of some interest to you.
I've started a Marijuana wiki (aka The Sticky Wiki) which I think you might be interested in. I'm hoping you can help me get started with this project. Whereas lots of articles about weed get speedy-deleted on Wikipedia, they would be totally cool over at MarijuanaWiki. But really I want the site to be more of a marijuana community than merely an encyclopedia.
To give you an example, I want to have city guides about where to score, find pot-friendly cafes, marijuana events, and what represents a good price in that city. Etc. (You can check out the featured article: "Toronto" to see what I mean). I also want to have grow diaries and marijuana blogs. All in all, basically more communal than encyclopedic.
I am in need of admins/moderators, and people experienced with MediaWiki to help build policy, categories, and templates, etc. If you'd be interested in helping me with this project, the URL is MarijuanaWiki
Thanks for your time and consideration. Hope to see you there!

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:30-degree-rule.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:30-degree-rule.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 22:57, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:War105.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:War105.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] A few comments on your signature
First, I clicked on your signature to go to your user page and it lead me to User:Black Velvet instead of User:Black-Velvet. In fact the account User:Black Velvet doesn't exist yet, I made it redirect here so people don't get confused as to where your userpage is.
Something else about your sig. Please, could you not use the font size 4 in your signature. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll bold it for you:
This is your current signature:
<font face="Rage Italic" size="4" color="black">[[User:Black Velvet|Black-Velvet]]</font>
Please alter your signature so it produces a littler font please. Maybe a size 2? And please change the link in which it goes to from Black Velvet to Black-Velvet. Thank you! — The King of Kings 23:46 June 30 '06
- Thanks for telling me. I changed the link to User:Black-Velvet, and I changed the font size to 3. 2, I'm afraid, in my opinion, is much too small. If you have any further complaints in that area, then I suggest you change your browser settings. Black-Velvet 07:11, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your new user page
I notice you have buttons and images! I added a bad joke. Psychade 10:05, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Hah! You're right, it is bad. And thanks for noticing about the buttons. Black-Velvet 10:10, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Some carpetbagger categorized your user page. Psychade 10:25, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
You retarded crack-monkey!!! That just gave you a bv tag!!! Black-Velvet 10:27, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, we've had our fun, and it was funny for a time. But people are actually considering this a serious issue. So please; it was in the spirit of a joke, and has now escalated into ridiculous proportions. I'm asing you to remove the tags which you put on my discussion page, since I can't. Psychade 9:54, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Moved the page

[edit] License tagging for Image:Wiki-image.mpl plaster.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Wiki-image.mpl plaster.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request
This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 22:39, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why Switzerland?
Hi. No, nothing to do with their financial position. I like the way they decentralize power to the cantons and let the people decide issues for themselves in referenda. Also that almost nobody outside Switzerland can name a Swiss politician, which is always a good sign. ;). Rhion 08:50, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alaska
Actually, I intended to revert those three edits as well. They simply removed the parenthetical SI measurements from the geography section, which doesn't accomplish anything useful and is kind of discourteous to users who aren't familiar with US Standard.
Admittedly, it's my fault for not making that clear in my edit summary. I really need to get less lazy about that... Kairos 11:57, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] McDonald Investment Center
Per your comment on AFD, this page has expanded. I'm 4000 mi away and I find it interesting in a Wikipedia sort of way. Please look and consider altering your AFD vote. We need to keep interesting things.Obina 16:18, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re Currambine
Yes, that was one of the more odd assertions in that article :) It seems to me to just be a mortgage belt suburb like about 60% of the north, albeit with better planning than some. Orderinchaos78 01:33, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
