A Methodist minister's son, I have lived in Kansas City MO, Stratford CT, Bayside (Queens) NY, Islip NY, Omaha NE, Little Rock AR, Atlanta GA, Clearwater FL, Lampeter Wales UK, and (currently) Portland OR.

I graduated from the Univ of Nebr-Omaha after studying Philosophy and a few other trivial subjects.

I barely earned a postgrad certificate in Philosophy from the Univ of Wales-Lampeter.

I love the Greeks (the long dead ones; the current claimants tend to be ... not so Greek).

I am an amateur Tolkien expert, though I am at the moment trying to get some things published.

I love to travel, drink, read, write, drive fast and throw dinner parties (usually all in the same evening).

My main intellectual pursuits are confined wholly to the assimilation of all knowledge.
