Black Heart Magazine was born in September of 2004 in Montréal, Quebec. Originally conceived as an e-zine, Black Heart currently has 2 print issues and is set to launch a third "Anti-Valentine's Day" issue on February 14, 2006. The magazine has been described by Broken Pencil as "raw and raunchy, a delight to all the senses" (Broken Pencil), and was also nominated as June 2005's "Zine of the Month."
