Motto: "Destruction is the highest form of art."

Function: All-Terrain Combat Specialist

(From the packaging)

Ground-based Maximals have literally nowhere to hide from this fearsome Vehicon. Second only to Tankor in brute strength, Blastcharge can demolish just about anything in his path. Powerful off-road abilities allow him to endure the roughest terrain imaginable. Equipped with 3 long-range plasma ultrarockets - no weapon known on Cybertron travels farther. Sheer power and drive make him an extremely effective weapon, but incredible stupidity keeps him from rising within the Vehicon ranks. Often heard mimicking Megatron's brilliant sayings

[edit] "Wreckers" BotCon comic

Blastcharge appears in the "Wreckers" BotCon comic. Although Megatron mentioned him as having worked along his "namesake", no Decepticon with the name Blastcharge had appeared before (he could have been a classic Decepticon with other name, but it is unconfirmed). He killed Fractyl and later was killed by the resurrected Transmetal Fractyl.

[edit] Transformers: Universe (2005)

The Beast Machines toy is recolored and became a Decepticon. This version of Blastcharge never appeared in any Transformers: Universe storyline and had to tech spec or any other sort of official biography. It's assumed by fans he is either the original Blastcharge or a version of him from a parallel world, such as the one Universe Obsidian and Tankor come from, perhaps even their world.

[edit] Transformers: Cybertron (2006)

The name reassigned to a Mini-Con, this Blastcharge is a member of the Decepticon Deep Space Team; the rivals of the Street Action Team. Part of the 'versus' Mini-Con packs; this toy is repainted from the Armada toy; Payload and comes packaged with the Autobot Mini-Con High Wire.

(From packaging tech specs)

In between the moons of Cybertron trails a 3,000 long field of debris left there by the many battles that have been fought in orbit around the machine planet. It is in the dangerous, remote center of this desolate asteroid field that Blastcharge, under the direction of Sunstorm, has constructed a decoy base of operations. The le ader of the Deep Space Mini-Con Team had hoped to lure in and destroy fighters for the Mini-Con Council of Sages. He never imagined that the Council would send the one and only Street Action Team to their doom!
