Blank Label Comics

Blank Label Comics is a collective of web comics whose creators have banded together for mutual assistance and promotion. The Blank Label Comics website officially went online on May 23, 2005.
All of the comics had previously been hosted on Keenspot. The fact that several titles were leaving Keenspot simultaneously aroused some comment on web comic message boards.
The original members were Brad Guigar, Paul Southworth, Kristofer Straub, Paul Taylor, Steve Troop, and David Willis, with Greg Dean and Dave Kellett joining June 22 2005, and Howard Tayler on October 19. According to Blank Label's figures, when Tayler joined, there was almost a 50% increase in page views.
Kristofer Straub and Dave Kellett work together on the Blank Label Comics podcast, in which they talk about (web)comic related subjects (and more trivial things) and interview other creators in an attempt at recruiting them to the cause.
