Blanche of England

Blanche was born in the Spring of 1392 at Peterborough Castle to Henry IV of England and Mary de Bohun. She married Louis III, Elector Palatine on 6th July 1402 at Cologne Cathedral, Germany, and had issue:

  • Stillborn Child (1407)
  • Rupert (1409-26)

Blanche was made Lady of the Garter in 1408. She died on 22nd May 1409 whilst in childbirth, and was buried in the church of St.Mary in Neustadt, Alsace.
