Blake Morrison

Blake Morrison (born October 8, 1950) is a versatile British author who has published in a wide range of fiction and non-fiction genres. His greatest success came with the publication of his memoirs And When Did You Last See Your Father?. He has also written a study of the James Bulger murder, As If.

Morrison was born in in Skipton, North Yorkshire. He studied at the University of Nottingham and UCL before working for the Times Literary Supplement. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.

'And When Did You Last See Your Father' is currently being made into a film starring Colin Firth and Jim Broadbent.

He lives in Blackheath, London with his wife and three children.
