Blake Dawson Waldron Lawyers, shortened to BDW, is one of Australia's leading law firms. According to Asia Pacific Legal 500: " Six firms (including BDW) dominate the commercial legal arena and, with offices in each of the major cities, are able to offer the resources to service clients' needs across the country". The firm has "first tier" rankings in Corporate/M&A, Employment, IT & Telecoms, Intellectual Property, Restructuring & Insolvency, and Transport.

Founded in the 1850s, it is now one of the largest firms in the country, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Port Moresby, Shanghai, and an associated office in Jakarta. It is currently aiming to expand its Asia practice.

BDW's areas of practice include Anti-Money Laundering, Banking & Finance, Commercial Property, Company Law & Governance, Competition & Consumer Protection, Construction, Debt Capital Markets & Securitisation, the Environment, Equity Capital Markets, Funds Management and Superannuation, Government, Health & Aged Care, Hotels, Tourism & Gaming, Industrial Relations & Employment, Intellectual Property, IT, Communications & Media, Legal Risk Management, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Mergers & Acquisitions, Native Title, Project, Asset & Structured Finance, Resources & Energy, Restructuring & Insolvency, Retail Finance, Tax, and Trade & Transport.
