Blade Icewood (Darnell Quincy Lyndsey March 14, 1977-April 19, 2005), was a Detroit-based rap artist, from the 7 Mile Rd area of Detroit. He was slain in gang-related violence on April 19, 2005. Blade Icewood, also known as "Ruler Of Tha Great Lakes", "King of da D", and "Mayor of tha Mitten" was a member of the Detroit based rap group Street Lordz. In 2005, Blade formed Icewood Enertainment. He signed his first artists Candi Cane, Balee, & Cash Out. His label, Icewood Entertainment, was taken over by close family members.
