Blackbolt (A creation of Marvel Comics), is the king and leader of a group of metahumans called "The Inhumans". Having teamed up with the X-men several times, Blackbolt defeated Apocolypse (An X-man enemy), who had attempted to take over Blackbolt's home world. Exposure to a certain gas gave Blackbolt a horrible amount of power, in relation to his very voice. A single whisper could demolish an entire mountain, reducing it to mere atoms.

Blackbolt is also a member of the Marvel Comics' Illuminati, which includes Tony Stark/Iron Man, Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Charles Xavier/Professor X, and Doctor Strange. The Illuminati also sent the Incredible Hulk into outerspace and started the Marvel Civil War.
