Black and White Beauty is an episode of the British comedy television series The Goodies.
[edit] Plot
Graeme has set up a home for old pets. One of the old pets, which is delivered to the front door, is a black and white coloured pantomime horse, which Tim names 'Black and White Beauty'.
To be able to make money, Black and White Beauty is entered into a steeplechase race, with Tim and Graeme inside the pantomime horse, and with Bill as the jockey. As all of the other horses entered in the race are also pantomime horses, Black and White Beauty has a good chance of winning the race. When Black and White Beauty, and another pantomime horse, are nearing the finishing line at the same time, a comment about Photo finish is made, causing the two 'horses' to stop and pose for photographs — and then another pantomime horse, which had been coming third, beats them to the finishing post, following by the rest of the field of pantomime horses.
Bill is incensed at the loss of the race, and he makes Black and White Beauty (with Tim and Graeme) earn money the hard way.
