Black Thursday can mean
- February 6, 1851, when fires severely burnt Victoria, Australia and reports of the temperature reaching 117°F (or 47°C) in the capital of Melbourne, but since the Bureau of Meterology had not been established, this has never been verified or considered official.
- October 24, 1929, the start of the Wall Street Crash of 1929 at the New York Stock Exchange.
- October 14, 1943, when the allies suffered large losses in the bombing raid on Schweinfurt.
- Black World Wide Web protest, a 1996 protest against the Communications Decency Act in the United States.
