Black Pool is a hot spring in the West Thumb Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States.

The pool was named for its inky blackness which was caused by mats of dark green and brown thermophiles that grew in the pool. In 1991, Black Pool had a series of eruptions and the temperature of the pool increased killing the thermophile mats. The pool now displays the same blue and green coloration as other deep hot springs in Yellowstone do.
