Black Moon is a surreal 1975 underground film directed by Louis Malle and starring Cathryn Harrison, Joe Dallesandro and Therese Gieshe. The film revolves around a teenage woman who tries to escape her reality of a post-apocalyptic dimension in which there is a battle between the sexes. It received critically negative reviews, and as such is not well known, despite starring Dallesandro, well-known for his work with Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey.
