Black Dog Productions
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Black Dog Productions were a musical trio that produced Spanners, a high point of the intelligent dance music genre. Two members, Andy Turner and Ed Handley, went on to record as Plaid. The remaining member, Ken Downie, continues to record as The Black Dog with Martin and Richard Dust. His 2002 endeavour, Unsavoury Products, was produced with poet Black Sifichi. The album is a homage to William S. Burroughs. Since then they have gone on to record Silenced on Dust Science and have started to play live again. They released a single called Riphead on Soma and are currently working on an Album for them.
